The final String Orchestra of the Rockies performance of our 40th-anniversary season honors the orchestra’s pioneering founding members and the up-and-coming generation of young musicians who will be the faces of SOR for the next 40 years. We continue to celebrate the boundless creativity that we all love about American music in works by Copland and Barber and a special string-orchestra arrangement of the American quartet by Dvořák. AND we’ll draw raffle tickets for two remarkable prizes! All in all, it promises to be a gala tribute with great music and great friends! Be there for the CELEBRATION! Online ticket purchases are highly encouraged at sormt.org/tickets. Raffle tickets will be on sale at the concert prior to the drawing.
