DESCRIPTION:Do you have a young artist in your life? \nRegister them for our Children’s Art Show and help support the Bitterroot Discovery Children’s Museum’s June fundraiser! 24 young artists will be selected to have their work featured in our live auction at the Communi-TEA Party on June 20th! \nSelected artwork will be: \n–Professionally photographed by Wide Angle Photography \n–Professionally framed by Cassens Fine Art \n–Displayed at Explore the Arts as part of Artists Along the Bitterroot \n–Entered and ready for the Ravalli County Fair \nAfter being showcased at Explore the Arts\, the artwork will be held for our live auction. SUMMARY:Atlatl Lesson\, Throw and ISAC
DESCRIPTION:Curious about ancient hunting techniques? \n  \nJoin us around a warming fire to learn about the history and mechanics of atlatl. After a safety briefing we will give a short lesson on how to use the atlatl followed by some one-on-one coaching/practice on our range. Throwers of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Parking is limited so please consider carpooling. \n  \nAt 1PM we will transition to competitive throwing. Crafted Wild maintains a property leaderboard with awards given out for the top three throwers in each category. \nThrowers are encouraged to register with the World Atlatl Association to have their scores considered for the world leaderboard. \n  \nRegistration is required for planning purposes and to help the day run smoothly. Registration closes at 5PM the day before the tournament.
