Thursday\, July 2 from 11 AM to 2 PM\, TRSP hosts Dr. Lanny Real Bird for a lesson in Plains Indian Sign Language. This event is FREE to attend and welcomes all ages. \nTravelers’ Rest State Park is known for its tie to the Lewis and Clark expedition\, but aims to share a more holistic and inclusive story. The modern site of the state park exists in the traditional homeland of the Bitterroot Salish\, at a crossroads of trade and travel for time immemorial.
