DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to go “All in for conservation?” The Bitter Root Land Trust\, a non-profit organization that partners with local landowners to conserve the Bitterroot Valley’s farms and ranches\, wildlife habitat\, water resources\, and public access to recreation\, invites horseback riders and cyclists of all ages to join for the 3rd annual Burnt Fork Poker Ride! \nTraveling along two separate riding routes (one travels across pastureland and sagebrush for horses\, another travels along dirt/gravel ranch roads and public roads for bikes)\, riders will travel to 5 neighboring conserved ranches to draw their cards. DESCRIPTION:The Tour de Farms Bike Ride invites locals and visitors to our community to experience local agriculture up close—pedaling through the Bitterroot valley\, visiting farms\, and celebrating the people who grow and produce local food. \n​The 35-mile route features 5–6 farm stops\, beginning and ending on O’Hara grounds in downtown Hamilton. Riders will travel a mix of paved and gravel roads with approximately 1\,000 feet of elevation gain. \n​At each farm stop\, participants will enjoy local food and beverages\, and the ride concludes with a buffet-style dinner at O’Hara—families and friends of riders are welcome
