Hear the call and be in action. It is time for us all to GROW FOOD!   \nFREE or by YOUR GENEROUS DONATION on May 21 to May 23 ~ Receive 35+ organic vegetable plant starts from these locally adapted favorites:  Broccoli\, Cabbage\, Kales\, Swiss Chard\, Onions\, Tomatoes\, Winter Squash\, Zucchini\, Cucumbers\, Peppers\, and Lettuce. \nA limited quantity of Seed Potatoes generously donated by Mountain Springs Farm\, are also available. \n“Mayday! Gardens” is a call to share\, an answer to Nature’s need for our attention\, care\, and cooperation. It’s community\, it’s food\, it’s a seed for our futures.  Garden plants are grown and cared for with the generous help of volunteers\, visiting school classes and groups\, and our youth interns.  Food plants are a gift from our heart to yours- because we believe in Us\, Together! \nIn order to expand our reach\, we kindly request that you only register for ONE garden of plants per household. \nIf we want to Change the World\, we need to Change our Food.  So\, let’s grow food and be part of the possibilities!

Our wonderful friends at Sapphire Early Learning Center in Stevensville have generously allowed us to use a portion of their facility for the month of May to bring you “Small but Mighty: Growing Strong from Farm to Table.” \n\n\nStep into a world where food\, farms\, and buzzing pollinators come to life! Our new experience is a hands-on\, family-friendly chance for kids and caregivers to explore how food makes its way from soil to supper\, and how it helps our bodies grow strong. Through interactive play\, children will discover the important roles of gardens\, local farmers\, and pollinators in growing nutritious foods. With a farmer’s market\, garden play\, nutrition education\, and engaging pollination activities\, this immersive exhibit helps families build connections between healthy eating\, local agriculture\, and everyday choices. Come learn\, play\, and grow with us!
