Schedule
Lunch and Learn Events Are Noon to 1 p.m. at the RCEDA Conference Room unless otherwise indicated. Lunch and Learns are FREE networking luncheons with guest businesses, class attendees, and instructors. 2026 Lunch and Learns will be held on October 29 and December 10.
Business Basics Planning 101 Series
Introduction to Business Planning 101
Hands-on workshop to get you over the hurdle of beginning to plan for your business endeavor. Your business’s road map is a critical and FUN first step. Instructor: Sandy Bollom. This class will be held on September 17, 2026 and again March 4, 2027.
Small Business Entity Selection & Tax issues
Curriculum focuses on the various aspects of the legal business structures, i.e. LLC, sole proprietorship. Discussion the pros and cons of most entities which will include tax implications. Instructor: Levi Clarke. This class will be held on September 30, 2026 and again March 11, 2027.
Financial Management Basics
Learn the basics of creating and using profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet statements. Instructor: Sandy Bollom. This class will be held on October 8, 2026 and again March 18, 2027.
Business Marketing Tools
Social Media and You Tube Videos
Learn the basics of creating social media content, developing You Tube Videos, and measuring impacts. Instructor: TBD. This class will be held on October 15, 2026 and again April 8, 2027.
AI Basics for Business
Learn the basics of the many platforms, how to use AI as a resource and to steer clear of the pitfalls. Instructor: TBD. This class will be held on October 22, 2026 and again April 15, 2027.
Financial Projections and human Resources with a Personal Focus
Intro to Business Financials and Projections
Learn the basics of putting together financial projections for a startup or existing business. Discussion on when and how to meet with lenders. Instructor: Sandy Bollom. This class will be held on November 5, 2026 ONLY.
Human Resources 101
Learn the basics of human resource management. This class will provide an overview of employment law, management’s responsibilities, workplace happiness, as well as progressive discipline and the termination process. Discussion will include contractor vs. employee. Instructor: Jaime Devlin. This class will be held on December 3, 2026 ONLY.
Human Resources with a Payroll Focus
Payroll 201

Quickbooks Online Classes
The Desktop version of QuickBooks will not be covered. These classes are held at the Hamilton High School or Bitterroot College Computer Lab.
