Filling out forms, placing orders, or simply reading the news and communicating with friends–nearly everything is done online these days. Keep yourself and your information safe by learning practical, easy-to-do strategies straight from the experts of CyberMontana.
This clinic is designed for us average, non-techy people who use the internet for common, everyday tasks and recreation. Topics include how to spot a scam and phishing; what to know about public WiFi, software updates, and browser safety; social media security, and more.
No laptop or device needed.
CyberMontana is a statewide Legislature-funded initiative that offers cybersecurity education for all residents. Their cybersecurity training includes security awareness training and workforce development for businesses and residents of Montana. Educational opportunities include programs for adults, high school students, and middle school students. Their goal is to increase the cybersecurity defensive posture for all of Montana.
